We invite caregivers and their children ages 0–8 to join our fully outdoor Nature School program, where learning happens in the open air and in the beauty of God’s creation.
Each gathering includes a gentle rhythm with a themed lesson, nature-based exploration, hands-on discovery, and opportunities for open-ended play. Children learn organically - digging in the dirt, watching bugs, listening to birds, splashing in puddles, and observing the wonders God has made. Caregivers have the joy of learning alongside their children, supporting curiosity, conversation, and family bonding in the outdoors.
Every session includes a simple craft or project to take home, allowing families to continue reflecting on what they learned and strengthening fine-motor skills, creativity, and memory. Our time together emphasizes friendship, community, and belonging. Both adults and children make new connections, share meaningful experiences, and often reconnect with familiar faces from previous sessions or school programs.
Our Nature School is intentionally Christ-centered. We look for signs of God’s love in the trees, the changing seasons, the weather, and every living creature. Lessons highlight stewardship, gratitude, and the joy of spending time outdoors, reminding us that the world is God’s classroom and every trail, leaf, and breeze tells a part of His story.

This is a drop in class for caregiver and their child. Times and days vary, please reach out to the school for more information.
We go out in all weather! Close toed shoes are mandatory, rain or hiking boots are recommended. Rain or cold gear is helpful depending on the weather. A water is nice to have for each child.
All children must be fever, vomit, diarrhea free for at least 48 hours for this program and ready to fully learn and play. In addition, all other symptoms must be gone except for an occasional cough or nose wipe. When the children are outside symptoms usually flare up and it can be very uncomfortable for the children.
We use positive methods of discipline, and it is usually individualized the child as we get to know them and what works best. Often this includes redirection, possibly sitting out, and if a child is not listening multiple times (in the forest this can be very dangerous) or hurting a friend or teacher, the child would need to go home for the day.
